Still there, though here...
Just saw two pilgrims today on my way to work ...
Warmly wrapped in their hiking clothes, wooden sticks in their hands, purposefully and steadily walking through the morning cold.
I had the urge to lower my car window and shout "bon caminoo!". Too late though. I am driving, and that's too a high a speed for sharing such a greeting...
Then I thought, oh my God, they'll take another three
months to get to Santiago ... they'll cross the mountain ridges on the way right in the middle of the cold season ... though ... solitary ... an amazing adventure.
Ever since I came back I had this itchy feeling, to write more. Here I am, finally doing it...
